There is nothing quite like listening to smart people talk about books. Below are 11 book podcasts that are sure to overwhelm your TBR pile.  Click, listen, and enjoy!

1. Discover new authors and books on Hear Us Roar, in which host Maggie Smith interviews authors of debut women’s fiction novels.

2. In the podcast What Should I Read Next, Anne Bogel invites guests to share three books they love, one they don’t, and what they are reading now. Based on these preferences, Anne suggests three more books to read.

3. Zibby Owens interviews authors on the podcast Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books. The featured books cross all genres, but a lot of them are non-fiction and many relate to parenting.  I was lucky enough to talk Zibby into an interview, in which she gives tips on how to find more time to read.  Also, if you’re looking for a book to gift a mother (not necessarily yours), check out this literary care package which features an anthology of essays edited by Zibby called Moms Don’t Have Time To: A Quarantine Anthology.

4. Drew and Chris talk about books and interview authors on So Many Damn Books.  The interchange between the hosts and guests is more conversational than interviewy (yes, I realize that isn’t a real word–don’t care). A super fun highlight of episodes is when Chris concocts cocktails inspired by the book they feature.

5. Reading Women podcast hosts Kendra and Autumn talk books and interview women authors. Each month they focus on a different theme. They also sponsor a yearly reading challenge.

6. Sarah’s Book Shelves Live hosts bookish guests who share beloved old books, favorite new books, a book they don’t love, and a new release they are excited about.

7. The Writer’s Story podcast features Kristin and Meredith who share their own writing lives and interview authors about their writing process. It’s sort of a behind-the-scenes look.

8. Brea and Mallory of the Reading Glasses podcast discuss the reading life and solving bookish problems. They often interview other book experts (often writers, but sometimes podcasters, teachers, book store owners).

9. Sponsored by Book Riot, All the Books alternates between discussions of new releases and backlisted books.

10. Listening to friends Julia, Tod, and Rider discuss books on The Literary Disco podcast is like eavesdropping on a book club.

11. Southern bookstore owner Annie and cohost Chris discuss books, the South, bookstores, and other random stuff in From the Front Porch.
