Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers are the hosts of the podcast Pantsuit Politic, which was featured in the blog post 5 Life-changing Podcasts with Bookish Friends. On their podcast, Silvers and Holland don’t share the same political ideology but practice the art of discussing those differences and finding common ground rather than debating and scoring points. It’s rather refreshing. This book is a grace-filled guide for developing a mindset that will lead to constructive conversations about politics like those they practice on the show. If we all followed the suggestions in this book, maybe we could put a stop to the polarization that gridlocks our political system.

Each chapter of the book ends with thought exercises that would benefit from putting pen to paper.  Check out these journals from Etsy.  I love the variety of colors and monogram styles. What a lovely gift!

This cute key chain will delight your politically charged friend no matter their ideology.  It includes several charms (globe, passport, justice scales, and more).  Monogramming is optional, but how perfect if you got the journal monogrammed too! I must be in a monogramming kind of mood.
