This lovely book is a terrific gift for the nature lovers in your life. When Anna Fergusson loses her job running a research lab on Huntington’s disease, she rents a cabin on the Great Barrier Reef. Turtle Island and the people on it help Anna to heal and take back control of her life. Author, Jenni Ogden, paints a loving portrait of the island, the reef, and those that inhabit them (both human and not). This novel is the perfect gift for those who love turtles, animals, nature, the ocean, and Australia.
Turtle Island on the Great Barrier Reef is a nesting spot for turtles. There, Tom (Anna’s love interest) works as a turtle researcher. Anna joins him in tagging the turtles and comes to appreciate their majesty.
