The book blogs below run the gamut. Some are small intimate blogs, some are run by organizations, some have beautiful photography, some talk about books and other stuff, some just focus on books, some are for book clubs, and some focus on certain genres. All are excellent.

1. Modern Mrs. Darcy: Anne is an author, blogger, and podcaster. The topic of all her work is books. She’s a voracious reader, so no matter what your tastes she’s got a recommendation for you.

2. She Reads: From She Writes Press (my publisher), this blog recommends books based on what t.v. shows you like. Another fun aspect are the posts that share what celebrities are currently reading. Lots of author interviews and bookish lists here.

3. Vilma Iris: Vilma’s beautiful website features books, fashion, decorating, make-up, and more. This working mom speaks my language. Love her recommendations.

4. Mind Joggle: Allison’s blog is basically book blog meets mom blog. So all you reader moms out there will find much to enjoy.

5. Overbooked: Author Cathy Zane features guest authors twice a month who chat about their book and then give recommendations of other books that share the same theme.

6. Reading Group Guides: Here you’ll find a jackpot for book clubs. Reading suggestions, discussion guides, contests, and book club tips.

7. Book Page: This website has author interviews, book reviews, and other book-related features. It also has a print edition that you can find in libraries and bookstores.

8. The Bibliofile: This blog has book reviews, recommendations, and a podcast. Two features that make it unique are its blog directory and its books to film news reports.

9. Ink and Fable: Another website with stunning photography. This one features books, lifestyle, and inspiration. I love her travel photos.

10. Bookish: This blog is for book clubs to find tips, recommendations, and exclusive author content. Two super fun components are the giveaways and challenges.

11. Book Trib: The site features book news and book reviews. It also includes a list of upcoming book events around the country. It’s a great place to discover emerging authors.

12. A Novel Idea: This blog focuses on YA and NA (new adult) book reviews. The blog also touches on writing and bullet journaling. Blogger Jeimy Moto was featured on my Ask the Expert: What are “New Adult” books?
